 SQUAMATA

SQUAMATA:  THE SCIENTIFIC CLASSIFICATION FOR THE ORDER OF SNAKES AND LIZARDS.

Join your host John Potash of the “Wildlife Rescue Foundation” as he guides you on an adventure into the mysterious world of snakes and lizards. Throughout this hour-long journey, you will learn about reptile physiology, reptile conservation, their important roll in the ecosystem, and pet responsibility. You will also discover the answers to questions such as: “What makes a lizard different from a snake?”, “Why do reptiles shed their skin?”, “How can snakes eat things many times their size?”

Not only is SQUAMATA an exciting and entertaining program that allows students a hands on opportunity to touch, hold, and explore snakes and lizards, but SQUAMATA is also a thought provoking, educational experience presented in an interactive format encouraging audience participation. This program is designed for school and library groups, but can be customized to all groups and will be enjoyed by all.

*Let us present these magnificent creatures at your child’s next Birthday Party. Call for details.*

SQUAMATA is best suited for grades K-12 and audiences up to 80 students.
